It's the Bumble!!! Raahhhrrr!

I was just playing around tonight with characters from my childhood and the Bumble is the first thing I thought of for a really good Christmas cupcake. Besides Heat Miser, that is (but I've already created him many times)! I'm going to give Yukon Cornelius a try and then maybe Herby the Dentist Elf. Rudolph's been done, I want to at least be a little original (I say this right above a post of Santa!) Stay tuned for more characters....

I am having a blast discovering new ways to decorate cupcakes! The more techniques I try, the more pictures I will post!

This fat, little guy was hand painted using food coloring on fondant. He looks a little like a weight lifter with his arms out like that!

Merry Christmas! My signature cupcakes feature sugar cookie designs on top. Talk about the best of both worlds!

I've made a decision! My bakery division of Spread will be called "sugarjones". I love it! It's modern and edgy and fun! My logo will look just like the spread logo but with sugary colors.
I'm busy, busy, busy these past few weeks and I couldn't be happier!
I will start adding more pictures and other information as I begin to figure this all out (obviously new to the blogging thing).

I have a very exciting two weeks coming up! Lots of frosting in my future!
I'm starting to promote the "Cupcake Gram" as a way for people to thank clients for business, congratulate someone for a job well done, spread some love..... you get the gist! I will not be dressed as a clown and singing though :-) just delivering a big package of YUM!
I'm also going to try some of Bakerella's cupcake pops. They look fabulous and delicious!
I can't wait for my taste-testers (I mean family) to give some feedback!

Well, here it is, my first official post!! I couldn't be more excited about this and the future of Spread Catering.
Although I am quickly steering into the world of cakes and cupcakes, I will always have time to make a dinner party or corporate function fabulous!
I am currently working on a title for the Bakery Division of Spread Catering. I want the logo to be similar with the same modern flair and simplicity of Spread.
